Job Description
Truck Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing trucks. To diagnose and repair brakes, engines, suspension and steering, and perform tasks from routine services to complete engine rebuilds
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assesses vehicles for maintenance
2. Prepare defects report.
3. Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
4. Repair vehicles.
5. Attending to truck breakdowns.
6. Monitoring inventory and order new parts when necessary
Qualifications and Experience
At least 5 years’ experience with DAF and Freightliner Trucks
National Certificate
Mechanics Class 1 Journeyman
