Vacancy: Travel Consultant
Location: Harare
Industry: Travel Agency
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the vacant post which has arisen in a well-established Travel and Tourism Agency.
Duties and Responsibilities
Job requirements:
▪ The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and organizing trips for clients.
▪ They will be required to interact with clients and guide them toward picking the best holiday package to suit all their requirements
▪ Books flight and other transportation arrangements as well as lodging and tours
▪ Provides information about travel destinations and accommodations
▪ Communicates with vendors of travel-related products to get the best deals
▪ Visits sites in advance of recommending to tourists
▪ Markets and sells holiday and other specialized tour packages
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
▪ The incumbent must have experience in ticket sales and should have a flair in sales and marketing.
▪ The job requires a mature individual with at least 10 years’ experience in a similar position.
▪ Superior knowledge of tourism-industry trends
