Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the execution, direction and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
This includes managing budgets, schedules and routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
Qualifications and Experience
At least a Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management or related field.
At least 2 years exprience in the transport sector.
Highly computer literate and able to track vehicles on satellite tracking.
Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
Exprience of managing budgets and contracts
Tact, diplomacy and cqlmness, especially when dealing with tired drivers and disgruntled customers
Excellent geographical knowledge
Good people management and coordination skills
Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry.
