SIGNATURE PETROLEUM
VACANCY: TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER
Signature Petroleum seeks an organised and proactive Transport and Logistics Officer to coordinate transport, procurement and fuel stock control.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate fuel deliveries, transport schedules and routes.
* Supervise drivers and monitor vehicle movements and delivery performance.
* Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and inspections.
* Coordinate procurement, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations and processing orders.
* Monitor fuel stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.
* Reconcile fuel receipts, transfers and dispatches, investigate stock variances and maintain accurate stock records.
* Maintain trip records, delivery documentation and fleet reports.
* Monitor transport costs, vehicle fuel consumption and fleet utilisation.
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
* At least two years’ relevant experience in transport, logistics, procurement or stock control.
* Knowledge of fleet management, procurement procedures and inventory control.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
* Strong planning, communication and recordkeeping skills.
* Professional qualifications from CILT or CIPS, or relevant APICS certifications such as CLTD, CPIM or CSCP, will be an added advantage.
* Experience in the petroleum industry will be an added advantage.
