A local transport and logistic company is looking for a Logistics Manager the candidate should have the following key skills.

Knowledge of the following:
1)Tankers Cargo movement
2)Tippers contract management
3)Earthmoving equipment management
4)Also able to break bulk trailer trucks.
Duties and Responsibilities
1)To ensure operations run efficiently and effectively.
2) Managing budgets, organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
3)Planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations..
4)Supervise logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
5)Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.
6)Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
7)Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
8)Evaluate budgets and expenditures.

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
*Minimum degree in logistics management or related field, masters will be an added advantage.
*Five years working experience in a similar position.
