🚨 VACANCY: TRAINING OFFICER – SECURITY COMPANY 🚨
We are looking for a highly competent, disciplined and experienced Male Training Officer to join our security team.
The ideal candidate must be confident, physically fit, firm and able to command respect while maintaining professionalism. He must have strong experience in security training and the ability to develop disciplined, highly skilled security personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Train and prepare security guards for deployment and duty.
• Conduct training in firearm handling, safety and basic weapons procedures.
• Conduct dog/K9 handling and security training.
• Instill discipline, professionalism, alertness and a strong work ethic in all guards.
• Conduct regular refresher training and assessments for existing guards.
• Identify and correct weaknesses in guards’ performance and conduct.
• Recruit and source suitable security guards from different parts of Zimbabwe according to company requirements.
• Conduct physical and practical assessments of potential recruits.
• Ensure all recruits meet the company’s required standards before deployment.
• Maintain proper training records and reports.
• Carry out inspections and drills to ensure guards remain operationally ready.
• Enforce company rules, procedures and standards of conduct.
• Work closely with management to address disciplinary and performance issues.
Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMENTS
✅ Male candidate with strong leadership and commanding presence.
✅ Proven experience as a Security Training Officer, Instructor, Sergeant or similar senior security position.
✅ Strong knowledge of security operations and guard training.
✅ Experience in firearm safety/handling and K9/dog handling is highly advantageous.
✅ Excellent disciplinary and leadership skills.
✅ Ability to travel and recruit guards from different parts of Zimbabwe.
✅ Physically fit and able to conduct practical training and drills.
✅ Good communication and report-writing skills.
✅ Must be reliable, honest, professional and highly disciplined.
✅ Relevant security qualifications/training will be an added advantage.
✅Clean class 4 driver's license.
We are looking for someone who can build a strong security team, not simply someone who can conduct training.
