The Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Training Officer within the Standards Development, Information and Training Department. The purpose of the job is to design, facilitate and support standards-based training programmes.
• Facilitate standards-based training programmes.
• Develop, maintain and update training materials.
• Support the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of Quality Management Systems.
• Conduct research and contribute to training related innovations.
• Identify training-related risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• A Degree in Technical or Science discipline or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in management systems certification (preferably IMS)
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of standardization.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Supervisory and leadership skills
• Proven ability in auditing, report writing and training delivery
• Lead Auditor training in at least one management systems standard will be an added advantage
