Training Instructor
(Equivalent of Motor Industry NEC Grade 10)
Applications are solicited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the position of Training Instructor that has arisen at our Msasa Branch, Harare on permanent basis reporting to Training Manager.
The person will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs across the Toyota Zimbabwe Dealer Network.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties Include
• Participates in and conducts technical training programs including outline, text, hand-outs, tests and evaluations. • Technical skills mentoring and delivering informal or formal technical related presentations. • Conducts On the Job Education and Training (OJET). • Managing the training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory and polytechnic requirements. • Detecting common skills shortages and creating a training plan to address these. • Assess training needs and certification requirements. • Compiling training reports. • Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees Performance • Maintenance of Training Aids and Equipment. • Assists in vehicle diagnostic and repairs.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications. Knowledge and Experience
• Five (5) '0' Levels including English Language & Mathematics. • National Certificate in Auto-mobile Electric and Electronics/ Auto-mobile Mechanics • At least two (2) years post Toyota Trained apprenticeship experience at Protech or Diag Tech levels. • Diploma in Training Management or equivalent is an added advantage • Must have excellent oral, written and organisational skills and be able to communicate at all levels. • An ability to communicate effectively in English. • Ability to communicate and impart knowledge to others. • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and presentation tools. • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. • Outstanding analytical, planning, and assessment abilities, as well as problem solving skills • Knack for detecting and removing barriers to learning
