1. OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The overall objective of this assignment is to conduct an analysis of existing donor portfolio in terms focus, real value and contribution to the organisation’s growth. To advise on partnerships to be strengthened which offer high value to the organisation in line with its strategic focus and institutional strengthening requirements.
1. Specific Objectives:
a. To analyse the existing partner portfolio in terms of contribution to strategic focus, value and institutional strengthening
b. Weigh the value of each partnership in terms of institutional strengthening vs the organisation required input in project implementation and administrative management component.
c. Identify main key partners that drive the organisation towards achievement of its strategic objectives and institutional strengthening.
2. KEY DELIVERABLES
a. Analysis report of the existing partnerships in terms of contribution to strategic focus, value and institutional strengthening
b. Assessment report on value of each partnership in terms of institutional strengthening vs the organisation required input in project implementation and administrative management component.
c. A report on the key partners that drive the organisation towards achievement of its strategic objectives and institutional strengthening.
d. Presentation of the above reports to management.
3. KEY COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Interested applicants should possess the following:
• Advanced degree in Strategic Management, Project Management, Finance , Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written form; specific skills in report writing and editing.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully advising CSOs in identifying high value partnerships.
• Knowledge of local and regional socio-economic and political context
4. HOW TO APPLY
