Job Description
JF Kapnek a registered PVO 1/86 which has been operating in Zimbabwe since 1986 whose mission is to improve family health, reduce child mortality and create educational opportunities for the children of Zimbabwe through the implementation of scalable, sustainable programs is seeking to fill the vacancies below:
These posts are meant to fill our pool of temporary cleaners who will be considered as and when the office requires their services.
1. Job Title : Temporary Cleaners/Cook
Reporting to : Administration & Procurement Officer
Location : Harare
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure cleaning of offices and the storerooms
Polish floors, hoover carpets and clean windows on a regular basis,
Empty wastepaper baskets and ensure all offices/reception and verandah areas are neat and tidy at the commencement of each working day,
Wash the equipment and the kitchen and utensils daily after use,
Check all offices and toilet lights are working every morning,
Report any plumbing faults or damage to office premises, e.g. windows, etc to Administration Officer,
Dust the surfaces, furniture and equipment;,
Clean and disinfect the toilets;
Participate in the purchase of the products needed for cleaning and tea supplies
Liaise with Admin Officer when new crockery/kitchen utensils are required,
Make tea/coffee for management staff,
Make tea/coffee for office meetings and official lunches,
Cook staff lunches,
Ensure there are sufficient supplies of cleaning materials, tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar and milk for office teas and meetings
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
5 Ordinary levels including English language,
Cooking and cleaning experience
Vigilance when handling chemical products (chlorine, etc.)
Rigorous about following the rules of hygiene and disinfection,
Tidy and discreet
