Delta Beverages is the household name behind cold Beverages in Zimbabwe. We manufacture, market and distribute high quality Lager beer, Sorghum beer and Sparkling Beverages by any measure.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above position that has arisen in the Sales Department - Lagers Southerton Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities
The job
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the successful applicant will be, among other key challenging aspects, responsible for:
• Making outbound calls and taking accountability for the order generation process.
• Upselling and cross selling to achieve set sales targets or budgets.
• Confirming orders placed with field Sales Representative and action them accordingly.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with customers and ensuring that customers' expectations are met.
• Ensuring compliance with Delta requirements.
• Monitoring customer buying behaviours and maintaining up to date customer database.
• Attending to various customer queries including licensing, price attributes, general account queries, sales and delivery schedules.
• Retaining customers.
Qualifications and Experience
The Person
• HND in Sales and Marketing or any other related qualification.
• Degree in Marketing or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• 5 O'Levels including Maths and English.
• Should have at least 2 years' experience in Sales/ Marketing in an FMCG environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must have good typing and data capturing skills.
• Have working knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental management systems (ISO 45001, IS014001 and NOSA) and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000).
