Job Description
The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following post in the Faculty of Applied Science: -

Duties and Responsibilities
Sets up equipment, apparatus and prepares reagents for laboratory practical work for students.
Assists students with laboratory work for research projects.
Prepares materials, test samples and performs sample analysis for research for Academic Staff and Consultancy work.
Operates, demonstrates, cares and maintains laboratory equipment.
Maintains a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• Applicants must have a Higher National Diploma in Chemical Technology and at least one (1) year post- qualification experience or a Degree in Applied Chemistry or equivalent.
• A working knowledge of AAS, HLPC, GC and UV-VIS Spectrometry is expected from the suitable candidates.
• A working knowledge of XRF will be an added advantage.
