Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post:
FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Department of Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology
Post: Technician/ Senior Technician (1post)
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing and running practicals for Biological Sciences and Biotechnology undergraduate modules.
Procurement of reagents, equipment and services for the department.
Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
General maintenance of laboratories in the department.
Participation in community engagement projects.
Any other business assigned by the department.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
National Diploma in Applied Biological Technology or equivalent
An HND or Degree in a relevant area is an added advantage.
At least one year of postgraduate working experience in relevant functions.
