We are looking for a Technical Manager who will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of the entire organisation’s facilities including client’s sites, carrying periodic maintenance inspections and also being in charge of all technical problems and projects.

• Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventive / predictive / design-out activities at the Organisation.
• Oversees the processes of fixing and maintenance mechanical equipment, vehicles, buildings, and machines; tasks including construction, plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs, motor mechanics etc.
• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
• Responsible to execute safety parameters/ trainings of mechanics, operators and technical staff.
• Maintain Inventory of all necessary parts and maintain all the relevant data into the System ERP.
• Responsible for customer service, reliability and dependability by providing all fields with the technical assistance that they require from the Workshop.
• To extract relevant information from other divisions team regarding required maintenance and convert in plan for execution.
• Systemize application of maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality.
• Apply good stores management practices and parts management to ensure parts and equipment retain full reliability while stored.
• Manage the company’s R&D, Technical Support, Manufacturing and maintenance functions to meet budgeted financial performance.
• Report regularly on key aspects of the technical field, in accordance with routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
• To provide managerial and supervisory direction with regard to service delivery in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction by ensuring that the contractual legal agreements are being adhered to and managing all aspects of the Technical field ensuring compliance with the ISO standards.
• May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility.
Qualifications and Experience
Skills and Competencies
• Proven leadership experience in a Technical Environment.
• Verified post-qualifying hands on experience in facilities management; motor mechanics, equipment design and/or manufacture, electricals and plumbing.
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technical department.
• Good knowledge of current technical principles, trends, methods, procedures and planned maintenance systems.
