Technical Assistant (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties of a Technical Assistant include:

Preparation and pre-running of practical activities for students;
Inventory management;
Preparation of bench and other reagents;
Cleaning the laboratory and laboratory equipment; and
Performing any other duty assigned by the Laboratory Technician, Chief Laboratory Technician or Chairperson of Department.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of a National Certificate in Science Technology or equivalent qualification from a reputable institution;
Applicants must have five (5) Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Science.
