Job Summary
Cimas Group, driven by its purpose to inspire healthier communities, seeks a highly motivated Team Lead - Procurement. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of central stores, procurement, and distribution of goods.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing the annual operating plan for the Central Stores, Procurement and Distribution.
• Approving and authorising goods purchase orders in line with delegated authority.
• Submitting quotations and purchase orders to Head Procurement & Logistics for verification of suppliers.
• Coordinating the tendering process for large purchases in line with Tender guidelines.
• Monitoring the stores security and cleanliness, and inspections of equipment conditions.
• Exploring new and alternative sources of supply locally, regional and internationally.
Key Competencies
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to produce accurate reports.
• Ability to analyse and solve work-related problems to achieve the correct outcomes.
• Experience in procurement of marketing and advertising/ branding materials.
• Experience in working with tenders and procurement processes.
Qualifications
• Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management or related qualification.
• Must be a member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
• At least 4 years' experience in a similar role in a large corporate.
