Job Description
Job Purpose
Cassava Smartech is looking for a versatile and dynamic Systems Administrator. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the organization’s systems support, maintenance, data backup, recovery processes, systems security, user management and ensuring that critical business systems are up and available at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Researches and plans Office 365 features. • Administers and implements Office 365 Capacity and security planning. • Implements solutions design and recommends them for Office 365 and related tools. • Implements approved Office 365 based solutions. • Plans and manages Microsoft 365 architecture. • Facilitates project management and enterprise change management for the adoption of solutions. • Participates in active directory management. • Administers SharePoint and capability roll out • Analyses system logs (hardware and software) and identifies potential issues with data centre systems. • Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for data centre systems. • Implements projects within or outside the data centre, or where backend systems are concerned.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification. Skills and Experience
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. • Office 365 Administration Certification a must • 2-4 years' experience in systems administration, maintaining system security & operations in a mixed environment like Mobile Money, Insurance and Cloud systems, as well as associated services and services deployment. • Experience in project management in an IS environment is critical. • Honesty & integrity is a must.
