Job Description
The successful applicant will report to the Senior Surveyor and will among other duties be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Consolidating and producing topographical maps.
• Liaising and providing services to other departments on mapping out specific areas, drone operation and survey requirements.
• Coordinating and supervising any survey operations required outside Chisumbanje estate.
• Coordinating the training of Graduate trainees and newly engaged Semi-skilled surveyors within the department.
• Supervising the maintenance and servicing of all survey equipment.
• Conducting site calibrations and providing backup services.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Surveying and Geomatics.
• Minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience.
• Knowledge in GPS, Laser and other basic survey instruments.
• Proficiency in design softwares e.g. AutoCAD, opt Surface and Model maker.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
