Job Description
The Principal will act as the face of the School and to lead as a gentle, humble servant of Christ, who possesses boldness and courage in fulfilling the school’s mission and goals. He/she will lead teachers and staff, set goals and ensure students meet their learning objectives. The Principal will oversee schools’ day-to-day operations from handling disciplinary matters and also involved in hiring of teachers and other personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Principal will be:
Responsible for the day to day operations of the school.
Demonstrating loyalty to the school and support of its mission.
Providing leadership and guidance for the school and its students.
Developing new academic and interscholastic programs.
Tracking school’s educational performance.
Building and fostering relationships within the school. He/she must communicate clearly and effectively with school’s staff, students, and parents.
Providing supervision of staff.
Enforcing school disciplinary roles, codes of ethics, and preventing potential safety violations.
Providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all students enrolled.
Making certain the school meets state and federal standards, the environments are safe for students, teachers and staff, and encourage professional development of all staff and teachers.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred Master’s Degree; minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Minimum of 4 years of experience of serving in Private Schools as Headmaster/Headmistress.
Christian background.
