Established in 1987, Population Services Zimbabwe (PSZ) is an affiliate of MSI Reproductive Choices, and is one of the largest specialised Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) organisations in Zimbabwe. PSZ complements the Ministry of Health and Child Care in the provision of quality, and affordable general health and SRH services in all provinces of Zimbabwe. The Role
The incumbent will be working in a pharmaceutical warehouse reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for planning and determining of economic orders of all inventory items in a timely and efficient manner to avoid stocks outs. Ensuring proper maintenance of stock record system. Maintain
detailed records of all inventory.. Monitoring consumption levels of all items and identifies unusual/abnormal trends. Strengthening of inventory management systems through supportive supervisory to all teams, review and reconcile all stock movements for all teams and report abnormal variances to warehouse
supervisor / Finance. Receives and captures all monthly stock movements (receipts, sales, inter-branch transfers) and processes these monthly.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible for the following, among other duties:
Ensure correct up to date management of stocks through review and reconciliation of stock movement.
Evaluate stock movements and balances for all teams and submit to Finance by the 15th of each month.
About You
To succeed in this role you must have:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
CIPS qualification is an added advantage
Must have excellent report writing and presentation skills
3 years’ work experience, experience working in a pharmaceutical environment will be an added advantage
Experience in the NGO sector will be an added advantage
Ability to work under pressure
A proactive person and team player.
Proven computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)
