We’re seeking a detail oriented and organized stores clerk to manage our inventory and ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, controlling stock levels and providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
1. Receive, inspect and record deliveries of materials, supplies and equipment.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to date inventory records using manual or digital systems.
3. Issue stock items as per requisitions and ensure proper documentation.
4. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
5. Ensure safe storage, labeling and preservation of goods
6. Assist in periodic stock counts and audits.
7. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area.
8. Liaise with procurement and operations departments to ensure efficient stock flow.
1, Degree or diploma in Stores Management, Purchasing & Supply or related field.
2. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a mining or industrial environment
3. Strong organizational and record keeping skills
4. Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, experience with inventory software is a plus)
5. Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse tasks
