Job Description

Working in stores to ensure segregation of duties with the new NetSuite system.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main Focus Areas
• Assist customers with their purchases and provide them with
excellent service.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying goods received.
• Issuing stock to departments as requested
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Process stores requisitions.
• Assist in the generation of inventory movements and stock
levels.
• Liaise with departments on stock availability.
• Restock inventory as needed and order new items when
necessary.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Assist in conducting stock counts.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure the store runs
smoothly and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining and retrieving archiving documents.
• Assistance in the issuance of fuel as and when required.
• Assist in raising Goods received vouchers for stock delivered
and computer equipment and issuing out the material.
• Capturing orders in the system and issuing out orders.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Work Experience
• Relevant Supply Chain Degree, Procurement and
Administration Degree, or any Administration related or qualification
• At least 1 year banking experience

Job-Related Knowledge
• Understanding inventory control systems and
software.
• Knowledge of stock rotation practices (FIFO, LIFO).
• Skills in tracking inventory levels, orders, and
deliveries.
• Familiarity with conducting regular stock audits and
reconciliations.
• Skills in sourcing and selecting vendors.
• Understanding the procurement lifecycle, including
requisition, ordering, and receiving.
• Familiarity with negotiating contracts and managing
supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of proper documentation practices for
inventory and supplies.
• Skills in maintaining accurate records of transactions,
deliveries, and stock levels.
• Familiarity with filing systems and data entry
protocols.
