A well established and reputable company in the manufacturing and distribution sector has a position open up to fill the role of Stores Assistant.
STORES ASSISTANT
REF: RSA/05/2023
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for monitoring stock levels
Conducts weekly spot checks and monthly stock takes
Completes weekly and monthly stocks and variance Reports
Assesses stock quality weekly and completes a Stocks Status Reports
Responsible for Safety of stock by making sure all Central Stores Warehouses are secure
Ensures compliance with all relevant SOPs
Qualifications and Experience
JOB SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Good knowledge of Stock Control
Inventory Management
Ability to prioritize work, manage time and demonstrate good organizational skills
Ability to analyze and write reports
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Stores Management/Supply Chain / Logistics
A minimum of 2 plus years working experience in similar role in manufacturing/automotive industry a preference
Deep knowledge of motor vehicle spare parts
