A well established and reputable company in the manufacturing and distribution sector has a position open up to fill the role of Stores Assistant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Responsible for monitoring stock levels
● Conducts weekly spot checks and monthly stock takes
● Completes weekly and monthly stocks and variance Reports
● Assesses stock quality weekly and completes a Stocks Status Reports
● Responsible for Safety of stock by making sure all Central Stores Warehouses are secure
● Ensures compliance with all relevant SOPs
JOB SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Good knowledge of Stock Control
Inventory Management
Ability to prioritize work, manage time and demonstrate good organizational skills
Ability to analyze and write reports
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Stores Management/Supply Chain / Logistics
● A minimum of 2 plus years working experience in similar role in manufacturing/automotive industry a preference
● Deep knowledge of motor vehicle spare parts
