Job Description

Conducting quantitative data analysis to track the implementation of the PACE study and analysis
of cross-sectional observational data.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and statistical analysis of de-identified routine healthcare data
• Developing systems (automated programmes or syntaxes) for analyzing routine healthcare data
• Writing Statistical Analysis Plans and programme associated table shells for routine healthcare
data
• Analyzing cross-sectional observational data
• Timely reporting of quantitative data findings, including progress reports, conference abstracts
and journal manuscripts
• Interpreting and disseminating quantitative data findings, including presentations at
stakeholders' meetings and scientific conferences
• Leading in the design of questionnaires for the associated studies
• Working with the data manager to oversee a team of data collectors and data entry staff to
maximize data quality and validity
• Assist in designing and leading the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
for data collection
• Working with project teams to ensure that data quality standards (as set in the relevant SOPs)
are met and periodically conduct audits to ascertain consistent adherence to SOPs.
• Active participation in CeSHHAR's citizenry – the Statistician is expected to actively
contribute to the sense of community and mutual support within CeSHHAR. This may involve
participating in regular meetings and discussions, providing mentorship to junior team
members and actively contributing to the organization’s culture and values.
• Additional responsibilities as directed by the Principal Investigator, The Key Populations
Director and the Key Populations Research Portfolio Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Bioinformatics/Epidemiology or equivalent.
8 years of research experience and statistical analysis – it is desirable that this should be in a
health research setting
• Hands-on experience in cleaning and analyzing hierarchical and other dependent data, such as
de-identified routine healthcare data
• Proficient in using R for statistical data analysis, including data cleaning, visualization and
advanced statistical modelling
• Ability to automate data cleaning and analysis processes in clearly written syntaxes
• Experience in writing Statistical Analysis Plans and programme associated table shells
• Ability to integrate Power BI and R scripts perform sophisticated statistical analyses and
visualizations
• Experience in analyzing cross-sectional survey data to derive actionable insights
• High level of computer literacy in MS office (Word, Advanced Excel and Outlook)
