Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SME Officer within the EmpowerBank Business Unit. The candidate shall be expected to assess, recommend, monitor and recover loans for SMEs / Corporates

Duties and Responsibilities

1.1 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• Facilitates selling of the microbanks products.
• Promoting and providing advice on a wide and diverse range of financial solutions.

1.2 LOAN ASSESSMENT
• Conduct site visits for corporates & SMEs clients applying for loans for business viability & performance assessment
• Writing of initial loan assessments for acquired clients
• Prepare loan agreements and demand letters
• Follow up arrears

1.3 CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics or related business degree
At least one year experience as SME Officer in a financial institution
Thorough knowledge of loans processing and assessment required
Clean Driver's licence is an added advantage
