Site administration including employee wellness, resource mobilisation, security and safety
Duties and Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will be expected, among other duties, to play the following roles:
• Setting up and managing the site camp and work area facilities.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to determine the specific needs of the project and ensure resource availability and allocation
• Effectively liase with Head office on requisitions, procurements and site provisions.
• Manage all Storage and Material laydown areas.
• Achieve timely deliverables as per contract/project and instructions.
• Mobilise and co-ordinate staff & labour on behalf of the Project Manager.
• Oversee SHE activities in liason with the client and SHE officers.
• Liase with the HR department on all HR issues.
• Site administration including employee wellness, security and safety.
• Supervise the Messing & Clerical personnel.
• Client and Stakeholder relationship management
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
• Prepare weekly progress reports
• All other duties to ensure successful completion of the project will be directed by the Project Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
A relevant qualification in Project Management/ Business Administration/Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in setting up and managing remote sites.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, technical and engineering documentation coupled with commercial awareness.
The position requires a mature problem solver, who is disciplined and has good communication skills.
