About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Site Clerk to provide
administrative, operational, and HR support on a busy construction site. The successful
candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate record-keeping, efficient document
control, and smooth coordination between site operations, HR, and head office.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the
importance of accuracy in labour administration, materials management, and site reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain daily site administration and office organisation.
Record and manage labour attendance, timesheets, overtime, and leave records.
Assist with site-based HR administration, including onboarding documentation,
employee records, and maintaining personnel files.
Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures on site.
Maintain accurate records of all materials received and issued on site.
Verify delivery notes against orders and actual deliveries.
Ensure proper filing and control of site documents (drawings, invoices, delivery notes,
contracts, and HR records).
Assist with raising and tracking purchase requisitions.
Prepare daily and weekly site reports.
Support communication between site, procurement, finance, and HR teams.
Report any discrepancies in labour, materials, or documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years' experience in a reputable construction administrative role
Basic understanding of site operations and documentation.
Experience with HR / accounting administration is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
A relevant certificate or diploma in Administration, Human Resources, Accounting or
a related field will be an advantage.
