Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Team leader
2. Plans clinic activities, delegation of duties to junior staff.
3. Supervises junior staff and students.
4. Attending meetings and workshops pertaining to Health related issues
5. Giving health education to patients
6. Maintaining and supervision of resources in the clinic i.e. ensuring that adequate drugs, food, cleaning material, stationary are available
7. Maintaining and control of equipment.
8. Reportwriting
9. Control clinic budget
10. Consultant of most activities at the clinic for decision making.
11. Ordering of drugs and stock controlling
12. Maintaining Staff discipline
13. Ensuring provision of Primary Health Care
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. A minimum of 5 "O" Level passes including English
2. Be a holder of Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
3. Be registered with the Nursing Professions Council of Zimbabwe
4. A minimum of Five (5) years experience in a Local Authority will bean added advantage.
5. Community Nursing is an added advantage
6. A diligent and energetic professional who is able to administer and manage all health activities and affairs at the clinics with minimal supervision.
