Job Description
Responsible for the distribution, transportation, inventory, and packaging and third-party logistics providers. The incumbent will oversee the efficient movement of goods through the company's logistics pipeline.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Responsible for plant logistics concepts (layouts / material flows / intralogistics systems integration)
•Managing storage equipment and moving equipment
•Tracking key figures on efficiency of logistics processes, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and best practices.
•Active management of work tasks and personnel deployment
•Warehouse structuring
•Effective inventory management
•Training of employees on the correct use of stock management systems.
•The root cause analysis and problem-solving on intralogistics processes and systems
•Responsible for inventory accuracy (cycle count program, periodic inventory checks, and year-end financial
stocktake).
•Monitoring and ensuring health and safety in accordance with national statutory and internal requirements
•Supervise and coordinate shipping activities to ensure efficient service to clients
•Organise distribution incl. products, vehicles and routes
•Optimise vehicle utilization as well as stock management of final goods and returns
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelors degree in logistics/supply chain
• 5 years experience in the logistics field
• Hands on experience with SAP
• Logistics systems and process knowledge.
• Proven track record of effective warehouse management
• Excellent organization, report writing, and planning skills.
• Systems & process expertise
• Excellent computer skills
• Self-driven and highly motivated
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly skilled in root cause analysis and problem-solving
