SHEQ Officer
Reporting to: Senior SHEQ Officer
Location : Norton
Principal Function
To assist the Senior SHEQ Officer in developing implementing, administering, maintaining and reviewing Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures to comply with all SHEQ requirements.
Main Duties
• Developing and enforcing safety policies to minimize workplace hazards.
Ensuring compliance with health, environmental, and legal regulations.
Promoting employee health and well-teing initiatives.
Conducting risk assessments and monitoring workplace conditions.
Maintaining quaity management systems to meet standards.
Investigating accidents and implementing corrective actions.
Staying updated on legislation and industry standards.
Collaborating with departments to drive SHEQ (Safety, Health Environment, and Quality) initiatives and performance improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Safety Health or equivalent qualification.
Minimum Experience
2 years experience in Safety Health and Environmental Management
In depth knowledge of legislation and procedures
Clean Class 4 driver's licence
Personal Attributes
Strong analytical and organizational abiltes.
Diligenoe and keen attention to detail.
Self-motivation, accountability, and relability.
Knowledge of hazardous materials or practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in health and safety topics.
