Job Description
To ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards and promote a safe working environment on site. The incumbent must ensure that remedial and construction procedures are performed in compliance with project plans and specifications under the project contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, Implement and monitor SHE policies and procedures.
Develop physical quality guidelines
Performing and documenting site inspections
Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety training
Prepare quality control reports
Track construction deficiencies and ensure timely corrective action
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with NSSA, EMA, and ISO requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree or Diploma in Safety, Health, or Environmental Management.
• ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 certification.
• Registered or eligible for registration with NSSA.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in construction or civil works.
