Duties and Responsibilities
• Development of policies and procedures for non-clinical support services.
• Giving input into the development of support services budgets and ensures operational costs of services departments are within budget.
• Provision of leadership in the management and supervision of support services staff.
• Resolution of escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
• Promotion of a team approach to service delivery ensuring that patient experience is at the centre of everything we do.
• Promotion of a team based harmonious environment in which the services departments (maintenance, kitchen, loss control, housekeeping) provide high quality standards for patients utilizing our services.
• Ensuring compliance and infection prevention and control in relation to cleaning and waste control.
• Promotion of best practices in the delivery of services across all services departments
Qualifications and Experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in the management of operations in the health/hospitality industry.
• A degree in health services management, business management or hospitality management.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate ability and exposure to the successful organizational change management..
