Job Description
Cassava Smartech is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join the IS Team. The main purpose of the role is to manage the day to day operations and support of the organisation's systems as per business requirements and ensure continuous up time.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plans periodic system activities, procedures and delivery schedules for implementation.
• Manages the development and deployment of organizations applications by vendors.
• Manages system operations processes and procedures including system performances, disaster recovery, design and implementation.
• Provides corrective action to system incidents and advise on all permanent issue resolution.
• Manages administrative, maintenance and support activities for all organisations systems.
• Prepares Service Level Agreements (SLA) with stakeholders.
• Ensure services are operating at optimal levels by checking activity logs for both the application, DB and OS.
• Ensure the availability of testing and production environments for systems.
• Analyze the need for systems and applications in view of Use Cases by defining technical requirements and feasibility of implementation.
• Gathers business requirements by interacting with business operations and other stakeholders for systems requirements
• Manage the implementation of specifications for system enhancements and developments as per requirements
• Safeguards the organizations data assets by ensuring data integrity and consumerate logical access
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent .
• 4 to 6 years experience in a similar or related environment and one of which should be in a management position.
• A relevant vocational qualification or certification will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills.
