Job Description
Job Title: Senior Travel Consultant
Location : Harare
Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Travel Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in selling international and domestic destinations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for marketing, sales, administrative tasks, and supervising a dynamic team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our travel packages.
Handle sales inquiries and close deals effectively.
Provide expert advice to clients on domestic and international destinations.
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a productive work environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Monitor travel trends and identify opportunities to expand the business.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
At least 5 years of traceable experience in selling domestic and international travel.
Strong marketing and sales skills.
Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of travel booking systems is an advantage.
