Job Description
Vacancy : Senior Manager DevOps Engineer
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager – DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role drives automation, operational excellence and continuous improvement to enable fast, reliable delivery of digital services. It ensures high availability, resilience and compliance across the organisation’s technology ecosystem.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties
❖ Design, implement and manage secure, scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
❖ Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, deployment and rollback.
❖ Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
❖ Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for real‑time system visibility and performance.
❖ Collaborate with development, cybersecurity and operations teams to embed security, reliability and compliance.
❖ Troubleshoot and resolve system issues proactively to minimise downtime and enhance reliability.
❖ Support disaster recovery, business continuity and capacity planning for critical systems.
Qualifications and Experience

❖ Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Science or related field.
❖ Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer or equivalent are highly desirable.
❖ A project management qualification (e.g., Agile/Scrum) is preferable.
❖ Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
❖ At least 2 years hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines on premise and cloud environments.
