Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
 Meal planning, costing and coordinating Canteen activities to meet meal schedules
 Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of well-balanced and nutritious meals including special diet meals
 Monitor adherence to procedures for ordering, purchasing, receiving, storing and issuing of food items
 Monitor food supplies and maintenance of inventory for food items, utensils and equipment
 Monitor adherence to food hygiene, health and safety guidelines
 Facilitate on-the-job training for junior staff
 Scheduling shifts and supervision of junior staff
 Any other related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a Certificate in Catering or equivalent and at least 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language. Applicants should have at least 5 years’ relevant experience, be mature, well-groomed and hygiene conscious. Possession of a Diploma in Catering or equivalent is an added advantage.
