A local company is looking for A Security Officer:
Summary of duties:
- overseeing, coordinating and analysing all security operations work
- supervising and monitoring the work and conduct of security operations
- implementing employee performance management processes to ensure optimum employee performance
- monitoring departmental system performance with the view to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and making recommendations on the same
- developing and implementing effective training and mentoring programs for security services personnel
- generating periodic security updates and reports
- ensuring compliance with standards, policies, procedures and practices to achieve the companys objectives
Qualifications and experience:
- diploma or degree in risk and security management or equivalent
- at least 5years experience in the force or private security working at managerial level
- competency in microsoft office packages and computer literate
- sound knowledge of SHEQ management systems
- clean class 2 or 4 drivers license an added advantage
