Job Description
Our Client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a suitable and experienced Security Officer to join their team and play a critical role in the security forces of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
a. Monitoring the CCTVs and other electronic surveillance equipment on a daily basis and reporting timeously all incidents noted.
b. Assisting the Group Internal Audit Manager in investigating all cases of theft, fraud other malpractices and abuse of company property and position.
c. Supervising and monitoring deployed security guards.
d. Preserving internal human and property security
e. Reviewing the Occurrence book for adequacy and completeness.
f. Performing security surveys in line with best practice and making recommendations to management as appropriate.
g. Updating the theft and fraud register.
h. Producing management reports weekly, and a quarterly overview of all security matters.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 Ordinary Levels including English & Maths
• Diploma in Police/Security Studies
• Certificate in ISO Quality Standards an added advantage
• Valid Driver’s licence
• Ex -police officer experience an added advantage
Person specification
• Good command of English language
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Ability to write reports as and when required for decision making purposes
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills across all levels of staff
• Knowledge of Security Operations and Procedure
• Manage Multiple Tasks
• Knowledge of Basic Security and Fire Inspection Procedures
• Knowledge of court procedures a must
• Available immediately
• Prior experience as security officer in a corporate set up an added advantage
