Job Description

Mavambo Orphan Care (MOC) is a non-profit making organisation established in 2001 to safeguard and protect children and vulnerable households from abuse, exploitation, and violence. MOC works with OVC, Adolescents, Youths, and their Caregivers through provision of health, child protection, education, School feeding, legal, parenting, economic, strengthening and nutrition. Duties and Responsibilities

Mavambo Orphan Care is employing some School Feeding Officers for its School Feeding Programme in Uzumba (UMP) and Rushinga (feeding learners in their place of education).

Applications are invited for School Feeding Officer post (x 5) which have risen within Mavambo Orphan Care School Feeding Programme.

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
A Degree in a relevant field (Social Sciences, Agriculture, Nutrition, Education, Development Studies, Public Health, Nursing or any other);
At least 2 years managing school or community feeding programme/s in NGO or Government;
Experience liaising with Government, schools, NGO and community;
Class 3 Driver’s licence a requirement;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels;
Good numeracy, with experience of data recording, collation and analysis for decision making; Ability to organise own work and prioritise tasks;
Highly computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office (excel and word), Internet, Kobo and power point; and
Proficiency in report writing, documenting and community engaging
