Job Summary

Watershed college is looking for suitably qualified and experienced School Bus Driver

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and staff to and from school and to various destinations for activities
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus/vehicle at all times
• Obey all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform inspections of the bus/vehicle before and after each route
• Assist students with loading and unloading onto the school bus/vehicle
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus/vehicle when required
• Resolve emergency and non-emergency situations that occur during travel and trips
• Build rapport with both students, staff and pare..
To be personable and presentable to College stakeholders.
• Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 0' Levels including English Language
• Valid Class 1 Drivers License & Retest
• Valid Defensive Drivers Certificate
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Police Clearance
Driver skills
• Six years' experience driving a school bus and working with children at an ATS school is added advantage.
• No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
• Clean driving record (no traffic citations in last 5 years)
• Ability to carry out assign. route on time
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow Instructions
• Ability to drive all other school vehicles when required
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge would be an advantage
