Job Description

One of our client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a salesman to join thier team in the Foundry Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develops and initiates a customer call plan that assures effective contact with established customer decision makers in procurement, product development and operations.
Reach profitability and sales objectives
Spend time conducting client visits
Work in conjunction with our sales and administrative team in order to do business with new and existing customers
Keep prices up to date in the client portfolio
Build close ties with suppliers and manufacturers’ agents
Perform any other related task

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Metallurgical industries (steel, foundry)
Have experience in working within a Steel Mill and knowledge of Metal industry will be an added advantage i.e previous experience working in the heavy industrial steel industry (metal recycling experience is considered an asset)
Have in-depth experience in sales and representation combined with thorough knowledge of the industrial market
Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent mathematical, problem-solving and negotiating skills
Proven outside sales accomplishments
