Job Description
We a young but fast growing supplier of fresh fruit and veggies organization looking for a vibrant female individual who will manage the sales processes, including receiving orders, soliciting for orders, ensuring order correctness, and interfacing with customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Systematically sourcing and fulfilling orders from customers, to meet customer requirements and to move products in inventory in pursuit of sales targets
- Designing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the company’s customer base
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Generating crucial sales and revenue reports, while generating realistic sales forecasts for planning
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while monitoring competition
- Performing quality control on all outgoing invoices to customers
- Advising on purchasing on daily and weekly produce requirements
- Analysing profit margins for each line to ensure profitability is maintained, compiling weekly profit analysis reports
- Generating routine market intelligence, i.e. supply pricelists, price comparisons
- Performing objective-setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Maintaining customer, and partner databases for the company and related brands, managing quality relationships with key stakeholders
- Conducting regular customer quality and satisfaction checks
- Performing other duties assigned by the Operations Manager
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related qualification
- At least 1 year’s relevant experience in a Sales, Marketing or related position
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks an added advantage
