Job Description
Our Client is looking for a Sales Manager who is experienced and will be responsible for driving sales growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts. You will leverage your expertise in sales and marketing to identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and close deals. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to prospecting, negotiation, and customer engagement
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Set clear, measurable sales goals for the team and monitor progress towards those goals
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage a high-performing sales team
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to sales representatives to improve skills and productivity
• Monitor sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting to identify risks and opportunities
• Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and other departments to drive sales and enhance the customer experience
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best sales practices
• Communicate sales performance and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications and Experience
• Thorough understanding of hardware products, tools, and home improvement categories
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and targets
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management, sales forecasting, and data analysis
• software 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the hardware
• Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and data analysis
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
