Sales Manager Grade - (D)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position which has arisen in the Sparkling Beverages Business. Incumbent will be based at Graniteside Plant responsible for Mashonaland East and Central territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Job
Reporting to the Regional Sales Executive, the successful applicant will be, among other key aspects, responsible for: -
• Achieving sales targets.
• Preparing, analysing, and disseminating brand and pack sales information.
• Monitoring competitor profiles and activities.
• Preparing and providing sales forecasts for management at budget reviews.
• Managing Customer development, Prospecting, Order Generation and executing the Picture of Success in Trade.
• Managing all executional elements of Commercial activities in trade.
• Driving market execution elements through RED (Right Execution Daily)
• Development and maintenance of a comprehensive marketing data bank.
• Managing debtors.
• Carrying out market visits and audits in an assigned market.
• Tracking and influencing service delivery as measured by quarterly customer trading instruments.
• Planning, budgeting, and controlling all expenses in the assigned department.
• Supervision, coaching and mentoring of Sales Representatives, Resident Account Developers and Merchandisers.
• Ensuring compliance to Safety, Health, Quality, Environment, and manufacturing requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
The Person
• The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes: -
• A Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Business Studies or equivalent.
• A professional qualification such as IMM would be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years' experience in a Sales and Marketing environment.
• Good interpersonal, communication, self —management, consulting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong level of Commercial competence.
• Clean Class 4 Driver's Licence
• Working knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and manufacturing systems
