M&J Africa is seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to drive B2B sales and business growth in Zimbabwe. The ideal candidate must have strong prospecting skills, be able to attend client meetings, write compelling proposals, and close high-value deals. This role requires a proactive approach to securing corporate clients, along with excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
📌 A valid driver’s license is required as the role involves frequent client visits and business travel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. B2B Prospecting & Lead Generation
-Identify and research potential corporate clients across different industries.
-Develop and execute a strategic prospecting plan, including cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
-Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified B2B leads.
-Schedule and attend meetings with key decision-makers (CEOs, Sales Directors, Procurement Managers, etc.).
2. Client Meetings & Sales Presentations
-Attend in-person and virtual meetings with potential clients.
-Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating M&J Africa’s value proposition.
-Build rapport with corporate clients and identify their pain points.
-Handle objections professionally and negotiate contracts to close deals.
3. Proposal Writing & Contract Negotiation
-Draft and submit tailored proposals outlining services, deliverables, and pricing.
-Ensure proposals align with client needs and industry standards.
-Collaborate with finance and legal teams to finalize contracts and pricing agreements.
-Close sales and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
4. Relationship Management & Client Retention
-Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
-Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
-Keep an updated CRM record of client interactions, deal progress, and feedback.
-Provide ongoing sales consultancy support to clients as needed.
5. Sales Performance & Market Analysis
-Track and report on sales performance, conversion rates, and client acquisition.
-Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
P-rovide weekly and monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
-Any Qualification will do
-3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or sales consultancy.
-Proven track record of prospecting, closing high-value B2B deals, and achieving sales targets.
Technical & Soft Skills:
-Strong B2B prospecting skills, including cold calling and LinkedIn outreach.
-Excellent negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills.
-Ability to write clear, persuasive, and well-structured proposals.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
-Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
