Job Description
Sales and Marketing Representative is responsible for developing and implementation of freight and logistics sales and Marketing initiatives to ensure that the company expands its customer base in the Airfreight, Sea- Freight and Road Freight as well as brand visibility
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Function
• Generating leads
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote services.
• Prepare and send quotes to clients
• Negotiating all contracts with clients.
• Preparing and submitting sales contracts or won quotations in Logisys for job orders
• Secure new clients and maintaining existing clients
• Assist obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Update clients on new service launches
• Maintaining client records in CRM-Logisys
• Answering client questions about IFS Services
• Create an annual sales budget
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Analyse market trends and identify opportunities
• Uploading all sales activities in CRM- Logisys
• Provide management with weekly and monthly reports on customer needs, problems, interests,
• competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Marketing function
• Understanding and promoting company brand and programs.
• Formulate and improve the strategies of advertising and promotion
• Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including
• online and social media
• Ensure high-quality marketing materials in all formats.
• Develop and implement marketing strategy via prioritized activities on the marketing strategy.
• Plan and produce events such as product launches, brand activations and more.
• Be the face of the company at events
• Ensure internal stakeholders are informed of relevant marketing plans.
• Responsible for the output of all marketing materials.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience 3 years
Education Level : Degree
Qualifications Marketing or equivalent
Software Microsoft Office
Knowledge Of Transport and Logistics Operations (Added advantage)
Skills To Manage customers
Ability To Multi task
