Duties and Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop market of chemical products range produced and distributed by the organisation.
* Identifying sales leads towards the introduction of new products,
* Provides technical advice to customers on chemical product use, storage and safe handling,
* Addressing any customer queries and guiding them with their purchasing decisions
* Plans work and come up with innovations to increase sales and strengthen market base.
Solicit and negotiates contracts,
* Preparation of bids for tender business,
* Keeps abreast of competitor activity and reacts proactively to any threats to the business,
* Research current market trends and making a note of customer requirements to acquires new business,
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
* Degree in Chemistry or related field.
* A qualification in Marketing or Sales will be considered provided sales experience in chemical industry.
* A minimum of 2 years sales and marketing experience in technical sales in the chemical industry.
* A Clean Class 4 driver's license
