The individual will be responsible for conducting effective enterprise sales, implementing marketing initiatives, conducting research to improve offerings and increase market competitiveness, as well as ensuring high customer satisfaction.
You systematically source and fulfil orders from customers, to meet customer requirements and to move products in inventory in pursuit of sales targets
You design and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company’s customer base
You build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
You generate crucial sales and revenue reports, while generating realistic sales forecasts for planning
You identify emerging markets and market shifts while monitoring competition
You perform quality control on all outgoing invoices to customers
You advise on purchasing on daily and weekly produce requirements
You analyse profit margins for each line to ensure profitability is maintained, compiling weekly profit analysis reports
You generate routine market intelligence, i.e. supply pricelists, price comparisons
You perform objective-setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
You maintain customer, and partner databases for the company and related brands, managing quality relationships with key stakeholders
You conduct regular customer quality and satisfaction checks
You implement and monitor marketing campaigns including email marketing, and direct mail, including both internal and external customers
You maintain and develop the organisations marketing databases
You organise and execute marketing events
You maintain consistency in brand use across your unit (brand management)
You perform other duties assigned by the General Manager
Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related qualification
At least 1 year’s relevant experience in an Administration position
Working knowledge of QuickBooks an added advantage
