We are a construction supplies company specialising in timber and cement. Currently, we operate one branch in a highly competitive and busy location and are looking to expand.
We seek a Sales and Business Development Officer responsible for growing the company’s client base and developing a comprehensive strategy to secure new clients while retaining existing ones. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, knowledgeable about timber and cement products, and able to work independently. This role requires significant client interaction through face-to-face meetings, video conferences, or telephone calls, and it involves travel.
• Establish and maintain key customer and partner relations, implementing business development strategies for market expansion.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and compile data on customer and prospect interactions.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on long-term success and client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing requests, issues, and technical questions with a customer-first approach.
• Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and product usage, identifying areas for improvement or service expansion.
Degree in Marketing or a related relevant qualification
Class 4 Drivers License (Own vehicle)
Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction sector
